It seems like Jay-Z and Beyonce’s collab album, Everything is Love has inspired another iconic duo, Ashanti and Ja Rule.
Ja followed-up on the new project saying: “Iconnic… The Carters… New album is dope!!! @ashanti I think we should do one of these joint albums haha… #fortheculture #iminspired.”
Ashanti got the message and confirmed that it’s happening.
“Listen, me and Rule, it’s so funny because we’ve been talking about that for so long, but I think now he’s like, ‘OK, now it’s time to do it,'” she told Entertainment Tonight. “So we’re going to carve out the time and make it happen.”
Ashanti and Rule have made some classic tracks such as “Always On Time,” “Mesmerize” and “Happy.”
